Sniper Ghost Warrior Walkthrough Video Guide (Xbox 360, PC, PS3)
In this Sniper Ghost Warrior walkthrough, you’ll be guided through the beginning to ending moments of cutscenes and gameplay in this FPS from City Interactive. With a story where you are part of an elite sniper team dropped into a hostile area in an attempt to help the rebels of Isla Trueno, a fictitious Latin American country, to fight against a coup d’état.
Based on the covert, shadowy world of the military sniper, Sniper: Ghost Warrior throws you into the chaos of a military coup, as you aid the rebels in restoring the rightful government to the embattled country of Isla Trueno. When the democratic government of Isla Trueno is overthrown, an aggressive and hostile military command rises to power. A highly trained special ops unit is sent in to help the rebels accomplish objectives that only a sniper can handle. In addition to intense sniper missions, players will also take part in a variety of assault scenarios where their prowess with weapons will be a huge help to the undermanned rebels. In-game this means you’ll take the role of two characters for different missions: A) Using the sniper for long range missions and stealth assignments and; B) Using a Delta Force operator for missions involving direct firefights.

Index of Sniper: Ghost Warrior Guides:
This walkthrough is done on Medium Difficulty. If you are playing the game for achievements you may want to start on Hard Difficulty as the difficulty achievements do stack. But if you have the time, would like to play single player again or any other reason, play on Medium or Easy first. This will allow you to get a feel for the game and know where enemies are when playing on Hard.
Sniper: Ghost Warrior walkthrough video guide, Act 1, Chapter 1: Intro “One Shot, One Kill”
The beginning of One Shot, One Kill is very easy on any difficulty. When you reach the oil refinery, you will want to kill your enemies and move to another spot quickly. You will notice a lot of times by either watching my walkthrough or playing yourself that sometimes enemies will nearly have 100% accuracy while shooting at you from such a long distance. You will have to get use to this.
Protip: I recommend taking out enemies as fast as possible and always have your pistol or med kit ready.
Sniper: Ghost Warrior walkthrough video guide, Act 1, Chapter 1: “One Shot, One Kill” training grounds
This is the second and last video for One Shot, One Kill. This is the “harder” part of the mission. Make sure to use the bushes and grass as ways of cover. In this mission, which will defer from future missions of my walkthrough, I take out enemies faster here as once they are aware of you they seem to sometimes have perfect knowledge of where you are, including near perfect aim.
Since here you are sniping, which you are most of the game, not always. If you are sniping from a long distance make sure to take your time sniping. You will notice I use the focus mode a lot. This is only because it makes things a lot easier, and to me is fun to use. Why not use it?
Protip: You should already know how to use focus mode, but you can only enter it when looking through your scope and then pressing the (R) right stick button.
Sniper: Ghost Warrior walkthrough video guide: Act 1, Chapter 2: “No Man Left Behind”
This first half of the mission is extremely easy and the second half you may run into some trouble. However, it will go fairly well as long as you stick to using stealth.
The bushes and grass are there for a reason in this game. All that is left is to thread carefully and then pick the enemies you take out wisely so you do not alert others. This sometimes cannot be avoided, so if that ever happens, just take out others as fast as possible.
Note: Later acts and chapters will become more difficult.
Part 2: Now unlike the first half of this mission, this second half you may run into some trouble. However, it will go fairly well as long as you stick to using stealth.
Sniper: Ghost Warrior walkthrough video guide: Act 1, Chapter 3: “Dangerous Grounds”
This mission is all about stealth. Though the mission should not be compromised if you do get seen by someone, just be prepared for a firefight. This mission is extremely easy done using stealth. Watch the route I take and when I choose to move so I do not get seen by any of the enemies.
Part 2: This is just as easy as the first part. You will notice I do kill a few enemies this time. You can do the same, or instead just sneak by them or wait until they move again on their path then proceed.
Near the end when I am climbing up the hill towards the lighthouse I do get seen by someone. Instead of turning around and taking out a possibly large wave of enemies, I chose to move on. You may not get caught at all, it is best to look behind you to see if anyone is looking towards your direction, then once they are no longer looking or have moved, then proceed forward. You could instead do the same as I did, as it will not compromise the mission. In future missions it can sometimes.
Sniper: Ghost Warrior walkthrough video guide: Act 1, Chapter 4: “Take Down The Rigs”
This is your first mission when you will be using an assault rifle and not a sniper rifle. The aiming system in this game is not the best, so you may or may not have difficulty. There are a few more missions like this in the game, though you will not have to deal with them for too long. This mission here is approximately 5 minutes long, but may take an additional few for you.
There is also no type of cover system, not that this game needs one, but for close combat like this. They could at least throw it in, so instead make sure to duck or lay down instead when you are low on health, reloading or healing yourself. Healing yourself is quick and easy in this game. Make sure to pick up med kits along the way on walls inside or outside of the buildings.
Sniper: Ghost Warrior walkthrough video guide: Act 1, Chapter 5: “An Alliance To Save Rodriguez”
You will find that most of this mission you will be using an assault rifle. There will be two times were you will switch to another team member and be sniping for a short period of time. Otherwise, be prepared to take things slow depending on the difficulty you are playing on. On Medium and Hard it will sometimes be very annoying here in the beginning. So take out enemies as quickly as possible.
It may take you a few times to get past each area to the next checkpoint. You will likely need to use your med kits as you progress, just make sure to use them wisely and pick more up if you spot some. When you become Sgt. T.Wells, the sniper, just pick off as many enemies as you can. After around 3 minutes, you will be taken to the harbor assault team as Pte. Anderson.
Part 2: You are now at the harbor with the assault team as Pte. Anderson. Move through the harbor carefully picking off the enemies as they come out. Use nearby exploding barrels as a quick way to take out an enemy or more out fast. If necessary, remember to use your med kits, if you have any.
For the last time of this mission you will switch back to Sgt. T.Wells, the sniper, and rendezvous with your team at the end of the harbor. First though you will have to take out the guy getting away. Once you have done so, proceed on to meet up with your team. Be aware that you will be getting chased by enemies. So move fast, I take out a few before I proceed down to the harbor. Then just run towards the harbor for a cutscene to take over and end Act I, for an achievement too.
